Nova Skyland Hotel
BY PLANE: Direct flights from Helsinki to Rovaniemi every day, all year round. In winter and spring seasons direct flights from London, Manchester and Istanbul to Rovaniemi. Nova Skyland is only 3 km from the Rovaniemi airport. More information on the airport here.
BY CAR: Rent a car or drive your own to Rovaniemi and Nova Skyland. Make sure you check the driving conditions and local traffic rules before you start, especially in winter. See road conditions and weather here.
BY TRAIN: Take a train to Rovaniemi from southern Finland or from the north in Kemijärvi. Train tickets are available in the VR Online Shop
BY BUS: A bus service from anywhere in Finland to Rovaniemi. A train service from Rovaniemi to Kemijärvi. Bus tickets for example from Matkahuolto or Onnibus web sites.
- Check-in is at 15:00
- Check-out is at 11.00. At an extra cost you may extend your reservation if there are available rooms. Please ask at the reception. A later check-out (11 am–12 noon) costs €50. Between 12 noon and 3 pm a check-out costs half of the daily rate of the room.
- Customers may leave their luggage at the hotel reception free of charge and pick them up later.
- Midnight sun season is officially from 6th June until 7th July but the days are very long even until the end of July.
- The Northern Lights season from the early September until the late April
- Adapters are available at the hotel reception.
- You must be 18 or over to be served alcohol. Finnish law forbids alcohol to be delivered from the restaurant to the hotel rooms.
- We are happy to help guests with any allergy concerns. Please, let us know if you have allergies at latest when you arrive.
- Breakfast is included in room the price and served daily.
- Please ask the reception for extra beds and baby cots − subject to availability.
- Please contact the reception if in need of first aid.
- Each apartment has a hair dryer in the bathroom.
- There is free parking at the hotel property for customers.
- Please do not leave your valuables in sight in your room. There are safe deposit boxes in your room and at the reception. Nova Skyland is not responsible for lost property.
- Smoking is not allowed indoors according to Finnish law. The fine for smoking indoors is €1000. There is an ashtray on the outside deck of each apartment.
- Unregistered guests in rooms during 8 pm–10 am are charged €100 /person/night.
- A free Wi-Fi is available in the hotel area. Choose network “Nova Skyland Guest”. No password needed.
- We also have dog-friendly rooms.
